AirMap Inaccuracies

On my last flight I noticed the AirMap seemed to go a bit AWOL. (A340).

At one point it was claiming to have another 4.5 hours to reach Dubai, when we only had 2, And then switching to claim it was another 7hours to Dubai. It randomly sorted itself out an hour before landing. I would have thought the Airmap is linked into the system of the aircraft? Is it? One of the stewards had said she noticed the problem but didnt know what was wrong.

Another question about ICE, when they list all connecting flight numbers and relevant gates, is that all flights leaving soon, or just flights to destinations which are relevant to the pax onboard? How intelligent is the system?

AirMap Inaccuracies

I have noticed the time to arrival and other pieces of information going all over the place on quite a few flights lately. Must be a software glitch of some sort.
