Baggage allowance - bag limit?
Hey,
quick question, the baggage allowance calculator gives me 40kgs (C EU to Asia). Is there a limit on bags or can I check 3 bags as long as the combined weight is less than 40kgs?

No limit on the number of bags you check in. The combined weight should be less than 40kg.

Be careful with the weight...
I flew from MAN - DXB yesterday in C and got stung for 225 excess baggage for 49Kg. This is the first time in many years of flying I've been stung, although I have travelled over the weight limit many times.
I'm gold in BA Exec Club and SAS Eurobonus, so was a bit surprised that Emirates were so keen here. It's my fault and they're justified in charging me but it is a pretty unpleasant experience.
This was my first time on Emirates and it's okay, but not outstanding.
