Be careful with the weight...

I flew from MAN - DXB yesterday in C and got stung for £225 excess baggage for 49Kg. This is the first time in many years of flying I've been stung, although I have travelled over the weight limit many times.

I'm gold in BA Exec Club and SAS Eurobonus, so was a bit surprised that Emirates were so keen here. It's my fault and they're justified in charging me but it is a pretty unpleasant experience.

This was my first time on Emirates and it's okay, but not outstanding.
