Unsure on pricing
Hi,
Sorry it's me again, just have a question regardnig pricing to AKL. From my understanding the ticket fare I am looking to book allows 2 free stop offs in Australia. I am flexible ish on dates so have tried various combos. The trip I wish to do is;
DXB - AKL 28th March 2013
AKL - SYD 16th or 17th April
SYD - DXB 20th April
Now if I do a flexible return DXB - AKL price is 8340 AED. If I do a multi destination search stopping in Sydney for a couple of nights it increases the price to 8760 AED.
If I take out the AKL - SYD leg altogether it's still higher than a DXB-AKL return.
Am I missing something?
With regards to upgrading I can see last time I checked on expertflyer theres availability to upgrade the outward leg but nothing showing at all for dates either side of the return. I have an alert on expertflyer set up already to keep checking for me but worst case is there any way I can upgrade us both at check in or put myself on a waiting list for upgrade through Emirates (I'm gold she's blue?
