Hey Everyone...

I am hoping someone may want to help me out with the following;

EK 211 on Aug 22
EK 202 on Aug 26

Looking for an upgrade from Y to Business using miles.
I have Gold status, but have been told there are no more waitlists allowed (policy change?). I have called in every week since making my booking (early May) but with no luck.

Can someone check EF and let me know the current availability of classes and my chances for the upgrade.

I, too have been looking to upgrade DXB-JFK flights on July 31st/Aug 21st, to no avail. According to the Gold desk, the possibility of upgrades this summer is unlikely .

EF only shows Flex tickets as being available, we want to see Saver and Upgrade become available!

There used to be 2 upgrade seats available for Golds only, accessible via the Gold Desk.

1) How do I get in touch with the Gold desk?
2) Regular agents have previously put me on hold and 'checked somewhere' but unable to process the upgrade --> maybe those 2 seats have been used?

I'm not sure if the 2 seats for Golds is still applicable - last I checked they had stopped taking waitlists - not sure if it impacted the 2 seats for Golds though.

Having said that, I was also looking for JFK-DXB upgrades, and got two for 15th August just last week.

JFK-DXB looks okay for getting upgrades.

I was told that the two Gold seats for my flight were already taken

The cancellation of the waiting list isn't impacting on those who were already on the waitlist though - on my booking, I'm still listed as waitlisted.
