First on the A332

Hi all,

I'm flying to India to meet some family members, with the following routing: DXB-BOM; AMD-DXB.

The DXB-BOM route is in First, but the AMD-DXB route is always an A332, so was wondering if anyone had flown First on the A332 and whether it was worth it, or just go in Business instead.

Many thanks.

The F seats on the A332 are proper business class seats, well quite old. The business seats are p!$$ poor (too narrow for my liking and the headrests are too pushed forward).
If the difference in cost is about 10-15% then it's worth it for sure. Otherwise think of it as your bus ride to the subcontinent.

Having said that, the F lounge in DXB and the slightly more attentive service onboard bring more value than the seat itself.

F on the 330 is considerably better than J on the 330, but considerably worse than F, old or new, on the 777/380.

Usually I would say avoid the 332 like the plague but since you don't have choice go for F. The service is still an F service on the ground and in the air

I would also encourage you to go for F, seats are a bit wider up there than in J. Other good thing is that you get to use the F lounge in Dubai which is worth it!
