Emirates Tours

Hello,

I am thinking of booking an entire holiday through Emirates Tours http://www.emiratestours.co.uk/ can I ask a question?

Will I still get a booking reference for the flights so I can go on and reserve my seats or do Emirates holidays have certain seats blocked out on the aircraft(s) and you are automatically allocated one of those?

Thank you.

You can pick any seat as normal if you are a Skywards member or traveling in First/ Business class.

They do have their own seats but that is from a revenue/inventory management and nothing for you to worry about. You will still be able to allocate your own seats

Another "benefit" is you get credited skywards miles for booking through emirates tours.co.uk. The usual ones for the flights, the same as booking direct but also 1 mile for every GBP spent. I have booked many holidays through them and they are always excellent.

I just requested a quote from Emirates Tours UK for a 5 night stay, including New Years Eve. Choosing the first hotel on the list to get a feel for prices (it was the Jumeirah Beach Club), the quote was 5600 for 2 people.... In economy

I think I'll book the flights myself, and use Marriott points - total cost 1200.

Okay, booked my holiday with them, paid a 10% deposit and the lady reserved all my seat requests in Business.

However it says on the 'manage my booking section 'Your booking does not have an e-ticket Please contact your Local Emirates Office to make payment. Your booking will shortly be automatically cancelled if you fail to make payment'

Now it's fine I have only paid a deposit not the full amount so I accept no e-ticket has been issued, what I am worried about is the last sentance, your booking will automatically be cancelled if payment is not made'

I've paid a deposit so should I be concerned?

No, EK Tours will hold the reservation for you under their own inventory. Your deposit will guarantee it UNLESS they gave you a deadline which you are not adhering to.

I've used ET quite a lot over the years, you can ask/request for certain seat numbers when you book. Most times I've asked for specific seat numbers they have come up trumps. Hope you have a good holiday
