Trying to get price quote, get error instead
Hi all,
I'm planning a large trip in the winter of this year. I'm trying to get a price quote for my flights and I get an error when I try to select the last leg. These are the flights and dates:
JFK-DXB-SYD Dec 24
SYD-DXB-BOM Jan 8
BOM-DXB-MAN Jan 17
MAN-JFK Jan 25
The error I get is " Sorry, we were temporarily unable to process your request due to a technical problem. Please wait a moment and try again." Any ideas what to do? The people on the phone couldn't get a price quote either, the system wasn't letting them.

Im pretty sure that EK does not have a fare for that itinerary and so is unable to price it
You will need to break it into separate trips plus of course EK doesn't fly MAN-JFK
e.g. JFK-DXB-SYD-DXB-JFK plus a separate DXB-BOM-DXB and a DXB-MAN-DXB

Gotcha, thanks for the replies folks. It's a bit strange though because it gave me the option to select either the UA flight to EWR or the AA flight to JFK for my last leg...strange. Will try breaking it up to get pricing.

During the selection phase , it is just offering you flights that operate to where you ask; it is only at the final point where it tries to calculate what the fare will be which is where it then fails

UK -> US is a valid and priceable route when booked on EK.com. The ex-CMB fares are able to price UK -> US on other carriers via the EK website, such as CMB -> DXB -> LHR -> JFK, the last leg being on a different carrier that is selectable, such as AA or BA.
