Is this a record? Can anyone beat that for speed of response by email to an email from Skywards?
If you can, I shall set up a mise-en-place of Hat condiments...

Hi all,
this is what happens. If your ticket has been reissued, miles cannot be credited with the tool, as your original ticket has been exchanged to a new ticket number... this happens when (re-)booking with travel agents. Also, if the name on the ticket is not IDENTICAL with your Skywards account, you have to email or call.
As for emails, they go to an inbox, where about 200 emails arrive per hour, most of which are spam (Y seat reservation <- German TA's for example "sell" skywards as a requirement for ability to reserve a seat... Durr if you ask me)
As for phonecalls, most Manchester agents have the ability to credit miles instantly, trouble is, that english speaking calls are routed mostly to Dubai. Their agents still work two different products ie EK/Skywards, whereas in Manchester most are trained to do both. Not sure about Mumbai though.
Regards and safe flying.
