Do any other carriers fly the A380 to DXB? I wouldn't have thought they'd need double deckers as D will be for non-EK will it not?

When is D due to open?

A to B train is underground, so yes, a different train.

Yes it's a totally different APM. The picure I posted is a Bombardier APM only linking Terminal 2 with Concourse D. You then have to walk to Concourse B to catch the other Mitsubishi APM that links Concourse A to Concourse B.

Only QF, but of course they use A. Yes, I don't expect that they needed any 2 level gates as they could park A380s at remotes or at C gates as required.

Assuming you meant linking Terminal 1 with Concourse D.

Makes sense, no more super-long underground walk then!

yes linking terminal 1 with concourse D.

Getting for terminal 1 to concourse C you still have to take the super-long tunnel.
