No apron views in BKK for the EK lounge. Looks out onto the garden.

Have they moved it? When I was last in BKK, the view was of a small garden. Those that count tail-numbers may be disappointed...

Hi all,
I will be travelling in F from LGW-DXB-KUL. Can I bring a guest who is on the same flight in Y into any of these lounges? |

Hey guys,
My parents are flying JFK-DXB in Business Class and I was trying to compile some informartion for them on using the lounge. Been going through a few threads but they all seem to be old and I'm hoping for new information. 1. What times does the Emirates Counter open? Their first flight gets them to JFK at 2:00pm and I want to let them know how long they have to wait before they can use the lounge. 2. Are there any fairly cheap lounge alternatives in one of the other terminals? (In case they have a very long wait till the counter opens) 3. Is there still a premium line at Security? (Not really a lounge question, sorry!) thanks. |

There will be a dedicated business checkin. My advice is to check in online as these flights are usually very busy and you wouldn't want to be bumped off! |
Finally a question by myself:
For once, we'll be having a stopover in DXB, rather than just connecting or exiting there. And it's in F :D So, here are my questions: 1) Arriving about 10pm in the evening, departing around 8pm in the morning. Is it possible to use the F Lounge on arrival and then go landside? I'm sure it's possible, but how easy it is? If it's too much of an hassle, we'll just go landside on arrival (Will be having a hotel nearby the airport) - if it's manageable, then we'll have dinner in the F lounge, followed by couple hours of sleep, then again breakfast in the F lounge. 2) On the way back, arriving about 5am, next day departure around 9am, stopover in DXB booked. I assume on arrival there is no lounge access to the F lounge possible like in question 1), as it's a stopover ticket, rather than just a connection, and departure time is still above 24 hours? Yes, I'm trying to maximize our F lounge experience, but then with 2 pax on full fare (flex) F tickets from Europe to Australia, I'm sure EK will understand :D |

I m in b lounge in dxb and can confirm it is a lot quieter than I have ever seen it.
Other lounges clearly making a difference. ^ |
I am going to transit via DXB on EK. My inbound flight into DXB will be in F class and my connecting flight will be in J class, since the aircraft operates only with 2 cabins service.
Can I still enter and use the first class lounge in DXB on arrival? |

Only if you are Gold or higher with EK - it's the outbound flight class which counts. Or ask someone if they will guest you - i.e. in the "lounge meet up thread". Otherwise J lounge.
LH allows incoming F class passengers to use FCL on arrival even if they are connecting to the another flight in J or Y class and without status ^^ |
