A little advice please
I booked a flight back in july BHX/DXB/SYD/DXB/BHX,for december.All the flights showing on emirates.com were flex fares. The flight i wanted(EK38/EK412) came in at Ł1341.Now this is where the problem starts. I actually booked through an agent so the fare could be paid at a later date.I have now paid in full,and lo and behold the fare is now a saver.This wouldn't be so bad,only i'm currently on 41000 miles and a flex fare would have enabled me to retain gold. I've spoken to both the agent and emirates about paying the difference between the two fares but both say it's impossible.Does anyone have any advice how i can rectify this,thanks.

I've re-fared a saver ticker to a flex ticket before. I had to do it at the EK office here in Singapore and it took the agent a lot of finger tapping - but it got done, and they were happy to do it. I just paid the fare difference. It may be that the travel agent doesn't want to do the work...
