I booked a flight back in july BHX/DXB/SYD/DXB/BHX,for december.All the flights showing on emirates.com were flex fares. The flight i wanted(EK38/EK412) came in at £1341.Now this is where the problem starts. I actually booked through an agent so the fare could be paid at a later date.I have now paid in full,and lo and behold the fare is now a saver.This wouldn't be so bad,only i'm currently on 41000 miles and a flex fare would have enabled me to retain gold. I've spoken to both the agent and emirates about paying the difference between the two fares but both say it's impossible.Does anyone have any advice how i can rectify this,thanks.
