Stretch Limo at MEL

Arrived at MEL last night, and had a stretch limo waiting for us

Good old Emirates.

We got stuck in a traffic jam leaving the airport, and had people waving at us!

Got to the hotel and the staff referred to us as 'The Beckhams'.

Great flight across from AKL. Could have done with the flight being a bit longer, not quite long enough to watch 2 films.

Cheers,
Rick

Awesome , glad you had a great experience !

Got them a few times mainly in BNE and SYD but not yet in MEL

The extra space is really handy when going to the Gold Coast via BNE

I agree with you , the Trans-Tasman flights have gotten shorter !!

Was your Limo a Ford as pictured below ?

At the opposite end of the scale.... the EK limo driver asked me for a tip today when he dropped me off at DXB.

He didn't get one

Cheers,
Rick

I'd say the opposite end of the scale was a car that picked me up to take me to BLR airport once. I'm not sure exactly what car it was, but for those in the UK, think about the old "Indian" Peugeot ad and it was somewhere close.

On top of that, he was late, I missed my flight, and had to sit outside the airport for 6 hours.
