Availability of Showers in Dubai T3

I am transiting DXB this week, between CPT and CAI. I am wondering what shower facilites exist in DXB T3 for passengers with no lounge access? I did a search, and found conflicting info, that showers were available, that they were expensive, or that showers were not available. Has anyone been through DXB recently and can update us? I will have no lounge access (no status yet on EK and travelling Y class). I am prepared to pay, so any pricing info would be helpful as well.

Thanks!

Not sure about the T3 terminal in general. It's worth a call to Emirates on this. Did you try a search on the DXB airport website ? That terminal is massive. It's got everything there. One option may be airport hotel right directly above the lounge level on the 3rd floor.

For EK lounges you cannot just pay and enter. This is confirmed. However, there is the so-called Marhaba Lounge for which you can pay, however, I dont know if they offer showers.

I flew PIA or some obscure airline (it was DELTA in fact) the other month and had to use the Marhaba Lounge, and dont remember any shower facility, although I took myself to the Irish Village after a while, I hated the lounge!

Yeah, the Marhaba lounge in T1 is not very good. But what about the new one in T3? Because this would be the one for the OT...

Marhaba lounge in T1 & T3 do not have showers.

DUBAI INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS CLASS LOUNGE in T1 between Gates 108 and 110 has showers.

showers

I used the Hotel in T3 to shower, $13, not bad. On the outbound, I used the a gym for 2 hours and the shower after that, I paid $20, not bad. If I were you and no lounge access, I 'd go for the GFORCE ckub in the hotel T3.Then if you have a GOLD MC, feel free to visit the MAHARABA lounge for 4 hours, food and booze not bad.

Gforce rocks, is one of the best airport perks that I have come across.

Private shower rooms with towels, toiletries, and hair dryers, plus mens and womens steam rooms, saunas, and Jacuzzis, and a co-ed pool. The best deal is a package that combines wet areas and the gymvalid for three hours and 45 minutesfor $36. Open 24/7.

Combined with a mimosa I slept like a baby all the way to JFK.

If you have Diners Club credit card, you can use Dubai Civil Aviation's First class lounge (though in T1) with no extra costs. This lounge offers very nice facilities including showers.
