Elal are going to offer the possibility for passengers flying from TLV, to receive both your ticket and boarding card with a code received via SMS, meaning passengers travelling only with hand luggage can proceed straight to security and on towards the gate, without any paper documents, they will simply have to show this SMS bar code at the gate, and just board the aircraft.

Well... Seems EL-AL like cell phones!
According to Mr. Haim Romano, EL-AL will be one of the first companies which
will allow usage of cell phones in planes! Bahhhh...
(He forgot his clients are mostly Israelies!)
Thanks,
Ebzed.

I have done it for ages,
I SMS my E-Ticket number to my CLLR + PNR# and show it when relevant.
The security guys always went mad - "you must have a paper" - just to put the security sticker.
After few years the understand that sticker on the passport is sufficient.
The check-in was always done by: last name + first name + passport, no E# or papers...
