Thanks LiorM. so 11C it is.
EconomyMan: i've tried to book the Vidibox, and indeed a nice guy named Nadav answered. As my flight is for september , i cannot book right now, but wait for mid-August. But he wrote my name in the calendar, and will contact me when the list of flights for Sep. will be available.
Why do you say that for J the vidibox is free ? is this written anywhere ? (J means of course the bonus tickets)
LiorM: i wish i could transfer 1 point to you, but i was left with a big ZERO in my account. would you accept disney dollars instead ?

.If you can get 11A that's better than 11C - it's a window seat but without the need to jump over anyone to get out even if they're lying down because as LiorM correctly pointed out there is 3 meters of empty space in front of the seats.

Hi,
As i posted in another thread - because of the cancellation of the route to MIA (two weeks after i booked it).
The AA connection JFK-MIA is 2:15 hours after landing.
From people's experience i learn that it's too short,
and i must take the next AA flight, which is 10:30am from LGA
even changing the flight to EWR doesnt help, as the AA flight from there is noon time.

I was on 001 last winter, with an 8:30 (or so) Delta connection to Phoenix. The plane was delayed a little, luggage took a long time to come out. I made the flight OK, my luggaged didn't make it, even though I got it to the "connecting baggage" belt exactly one hour before the Delta departure time, which was posted as the time necessary for connecting baggage. I think that TSA security delayed it (when I got it, it had that wonderful note inside from TSA explaining why my suitcase didn't look like it did when I packed it...). So the 8AM connection could work if everything runs smoothly. Any "glitch" and you may be w/o luggage even if you make it.
But travelling from JFK to LGA for a 10:30 departure? Does the airline get you there, or are you on your own?

well,
i was it a tough spot with ElAl.
3 bonus tickets - they change my flight to the LGA flight no problem.
my 4th ticket is a paying one, that i didnt issue yet.... this is a big pain in the neck. Elal couldn't give me the LGA-MIA flight with a minimal fare, because it run out. i needed to upgrade to Q (from V) in order to get the AA flight with my ElAl ticket (a nice 400$ ).
Elal wouldn't agree to give me Q with addition of just 100-150$.
The ElAl rep was very helpfull and tried his best to assist.
He suggested to travel one day earlier, and they will take care of the bonus flights (which of course there are not available for the public.. sold out) and also the AA flights. i had to decline, because i've already went one day earlier because of the TLV-MIA flight not departing Friday as i wanted, but Thursday instead. so this option was no-go.
so he consulted some more, and gave me a good solution - i will purchase the AA LGA-MIA flight on my own, and Elal will take responsibility over this flight if for some reason of delay i miss it.... fair enought.
ravshaya - as you wrote - making a short connection is risky. the elal rep tries to convince me that the min. connection time is 1:45 and i have 2:25 which is ok....
i told him, that i might make the flight, but i am risking not getting my bags ... just like you did... and i rather hassle myself to a connection in LGA but have my bags with me.
currently ElAl is not taking care of the transport JFK-LGA, but i dont care... it's a 30$ cab ride.. i can manage that.
