Great, now I can't do ANYTHING in their website in Firefox. Before I just couldn't read the points report.

When you hover over the menu items in "My Account" you can see your password there for all to see. How wonderful!

Nice to see that they can't spell "Messages" correctly!

In short El Al and Netwise S*CK at web design from both a functionality perspective and a design perspective. What are they thinking? Do they have any clue whatsoever?

This is the company.....shame on them....they should be shut down!
Maccann-Ericsson (or Kesher-Barel) is the PR and advertising company in charge of the LY account including the website. Thei office is at Raul Valenberg 2 (where the Frame restaurant and the Garage gym are). Maybe we should start a protest there

Netwise are the subcontractors for the website itself.

By the way, Frame is the best restaurant in Ramat Hachayal. They have great lunches for less than 50 Shekels.

I am also in Ramat Hachayal. Maybe we should have a FlyerTalk Lunch DO at Frame (do they take Cibus?) and then we can go stone the Maccann-Ericsson office.

cool. I haven't been there until my last visit when I had a bunch of meetings with VCs, and they were all over there... too bad I didn't know about Frame, I just went to Giraffe...

Yeah, we should do a protest/DO up there!! that would be fun.

How hard is it for ELAL to ask the IAA (Israel Airport Authority) to use this link as a terminal map for their website,
http://www.iaa.gov.il/Rashat/map.asp...an&elementId=#
(Click ENGLISH at the bottom of the screen)

It's outrageous!

No the problem is that these sites are "designed" by graphic artists who know Flash rather than by information scientists.

So, we can add that to the list of professions for which Israel is over-endowed then, like doctors, huh?

I don't mind the extensive use of Flash technology, but what about the content in those flash applets?

Anyone called them about all this? I am going to, right now.

Edited to add: after holding for 18 minutes for someone from the relevant department (whatever that may be), the girl who answered my call initially promised someone would get back to me.

I don't hold my breath...
