Family member just booked YYZ-TLV on points. Amazed that for pure competitive reasons the 767 remains on the Toronto route. Always figured it would have been one of the first to transition to the Dreamliner. Even BOS is changing to a 772 for the Winter Season.

Yes, why YYZ is still a junky 767 is beyond me, but the 788s don't seem to be on-tap for a while, nu?

Sorry, I meant to add that was the original scheduled retirement plan as of a few weeks ago, but I'm aware there are a couple of changes due to accident.

I'm not sure however that they can get rid of the fleet sooner than scheduled as they don't yet have the aircrafts to replace them.

I flew on the "newest" 767 today.
It looks ancient.
OTOH, flying to BCN in a wide-body is better than a 737

They could keep the 744s a bit longer

I think Boeing has a few spare 748's they can replace them pretty much right away, too

So the retirement schedule for the 744s has also been changed? 3 of them were meant to be gone by January with the remaining 2 to be retired by July.

If they kept the 744s as long as they did some of the 742s they'd be around for another 7 years or so, by which time they'll be seriously dated (as was the 742). I doubt that's going to happen though. Not with the scheduled arrival of the Dreamliners.
