LY 082 Stranded in BKK

Main problem - passangers to be stranded for Sabath, until new parts arrive (btw, are LY allowed to fly parts on Saturday?).
My question - if one of them asks to be re-routed (RJ, TK, or via Europe), would it be cheaper for LY than paying them compensation according to the new law?

As I am not religious I would ask LY to fly me on a One World Partner such as British Airways to LHR and then LHR-TLV or get the ticket endorsed to Lufthansa as I don't mind flying on the Sabbath. If this was not possible I would ask for a hotel room,vouchers for food etc.

It's a 747 engine part; even if it is not readily available in BKK, some other airline or aircraft maintenance company may have it in stock somewhere closer to Thailand than TLV.
