Rumor: LY is considering MCO
Hi All,
LY is considering service to MCO and last time LY was there back in years of 1990s. LY is flies nonstop from TLV-MCO-MIA and back to TLV. It was on operated 744 aircraft. So here the links:

LY is in particular consideration. LY will have direct-flight from MCO-TLV. IF there is possibility Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer will have meetings with El Al in Israel and they will traveling on business trip.

Indeed, and I was going to PM damaxer91 about that earlier when I got distracted.
To his/her defence though, they wouldn’t really know this, and N830MH used to have a little footer mentioning this at the bottom of his posts but no longer does.
On another note, N830MH, I have just noticed the astonishing number of posts you have accumulated in around the same time I have been a member on here, and I thought I was doing well...

Well, everyone knows that our top two are ORD and MIA. With the competition consolidating in the US and developing their hubs, I can't talk about the other cities we would serve in an ideal situation (low fuel costs, fleet availability, landing rights/slots). Some cities have been mentioned previously in this forum.

TLV-SJC
It would be nice to have a TLV-SJC flight on a 777-200 or have SJC start allowing the 747s. SJC would be better than SFO because there is less fog and a lot of companies that do business with Israel could profit . With AA flying small jets to LAX and making the connection with the checkin times etc the LY flight out of SJC would make sense.
One looses a lot of time waiting at JFK or another European airport. In 14h40 minutes you can be at TLV.

I remember AA used to fly SJC-NRT but can a fully loaded 777 even take off out of SJC? It's got a not particularly long runway and then at the end of it you have freeway 101. If it doesn't take off in time we'll have another AF358 on our hands in San Jose except this time people will likely die.

(I remember this meeting! you were there?)
(With the cost of his salary, Bonuses and "Maanak Histaglot", EL-AL could buy another plane!)

I have been so far in the Far East, USA, Spain, France & London ones...
I Believe there are more people flying more than me to those specific areas.
Anyway, I always keep low profile on those meetings.
