Will i make it?
Tomorrow i have a morning flight (LY323), Since i live in the south, it takes appx 1 hour from my door to the airport.
As a ...... dad that is away most of the time from home, I am trying to
get a nice breakfast with the kids before going to the airport.
LY323's Boarding @ 08:20
I am planning to get out of home around 06:30 to 06:45
means i have 35 Minutes to get from enterance to the gate...
Am i the only one thinking its doable ?
(Just in case, i have alerted Sherut Shalom to be in standby to rescue me
from security on enterance and before passport control).
Ahh, Yes, I need also Duty Free!

People in my company are always scared to miss flights. I tell them that you can arrive at the airport very very late and make the flight.
If you OLCI then LY dosen't know if you are or aren't in the airport. If you don't arrive in the gate they will call your cellphone when the boarding is almost complete.
Since you are ebzed... if they call you and you tell them you will be in the in five or ten minutes the they will wait.
I am no status. My record is 12 minutes from arriving to the ariport to clearing passport control. I guess another 10 minutes maximum to hte gate.
I'm sure it will be fine.
(but please report and telll us how it went.

I assume that ...... means super since you are making a great effort with the kids before the airport. Anyway, I'm sure you made your flight this morning.

Encouraging people not just to arrive late but to arrive very very late to a flight, not knowing what traffic, check in, security etc will be like on the day.

I don't encourage people to come late. But sometimes things happen and you are late and people become hysterical.
I myslef allways arrive in the airport at least 2 hours before the flight. This was I will never miss a flight.

Yes it should! The train leaves Be'er Sheva only once an hour, and it's at :32, so shouldn't have helped ebzed if he wants to only leave the house at 30-45 past. Second, the train from Be'er Sheva, until it merges (after Ramle) with the Lod line, is slow and windy. Finally, you need to switch in Hagana anyways. Israel Rail's site lists the trip as 1 hour, 35 minutes.

Trains from Beer-Sheba is a disaster...
In a Taxi from my home (way far from the exit from the city) to the Airport is from 45 to 55 minutes...
Anyway it seems that the biggest "bug" is the second security check, where they dont distinguish between business and economy...
Might need to do it again on Monday, If so i will try to "push the envelope" and spend 10 more minutes with the kids...
