1 Matmid point = $1 when buying points
1 Matmid point = $1 when redeeming for an upgrade voucher or bonus ticket (at regular rates)
1 Matmid point = $0.50 when redeeming to cover part of fuel surcharge and/or taxes (which means that unless you have a ridiculous number of points that you have no other need for, it is NOT worthwhile to use points to pay for the surcharge or taxes).
