easyJet moves to internet only bookings

No computer access will soon mean it will be much harder to book seats in advance with UKs low cost no frills easyJet. On 5/1/00 a new policy restricting bookings on flights more than 2 months ahead to Internet only begins. If a flight departs within 2 months of the booking day it may be purchased by phone, however- at least for now! I'd posted some time ago that they claimed to be the worlds first internet airline and they have about 60% of bookings coming in via the net as it is. An announcement should be forthcoming.

Online bookings reached 89.2 per cent of initial seat sales by EasyJet, the low cost airline, last month.
