easyJet to start direct services from Amsterdam to Edinburgh, Belfast and Nice from J

easyJet, the low-cost airline, has today announced that it is to commence direct services from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Edinburgh, Belfast and Nice from 5 January 2001.
There will be twice-daily services to Edinburgh, and daily flights to Belfast and Nice. All services will be operated by Boeing 737 series aircraft with 149 seats. These new destinations will be the first step in the process of establishing Amsterdam as a new base airport for easyJet. The airline already operates flights to Schiphol Airport from Luton, Liverpool and Geneva.
The addition of these new routes follows the airline's policy of adding services to destinations that it already serves. easyJet currently operates flights to Nice from Luton, Liverpool and Geneva; to Belfast from Luton and Liverpool; and to Edinburgh from Luton.
With the addition of these services, the easyJet route network will subsequently consist of 31 routes to 18 airports in 16 cities.
