Potential fraud

Early July 2024 I got an EDI-NCE that unexpectedly got delayed by 4 hours due to a technical problem. I immediately filed a claim that it should qualify under UK/EC261 as it was over 3h and over 1,500km.
I got an initial response with a 100 voucher from "[email protected]". I replied and filled an EC261 form on 3 days later that was acknowledged promising a response on 28 days. I got none until yesterday (6 months later) from "[email protected]" asking my bank details to settle the compensation.
I am an occasional Easyjet flyer and wonder whether this might be a scam.
Any suggestion?

If the email ends @easyjet.com (and open the full email to make sure it does) it should be genuine but if you are in any doubt ring them to confirm.

Also worth checking what email youre sending to when you reply, as mentioned if its easyJet then its correct.

Regards its very limited what a scammer could do with your bank details, unless they want to pay you money.
