OLCI GVA to RAK and remain airside

Does Easyjet allow me to complete online check-in when travelling from GVA to RAK and go straight to the gate or do I have to present myself at the landside check-in counter to verify my papers? I have a German passport, travelling without luggage. Background of my question is that I arrive on a different flight into GVA with what would amount to only 80 minutes transit time. Assuming that my incoming flight SV237 is on time, do I have a chance to remain airside and go straight to the gate?

While not the same set of flights, I did a similar 'transit' at Geneva late last year, and I was not allowed to use the transfer facility and therefore could not remain landside. I had to enter Switzerland and leave again. This process was quite smooth and didn't take more than about 30 minutes (Sunday in mid December), around 11am.

I arrived from Manchester on easyJet (non-Schengen, like Saudi Arabia) and I departed on an easyJet flight to Belgrade (also non-Schengen, like Morocco).

Edited to specify: I was fully checked in online. When you walk down the long corridor for non-Schengen arrivals there is a gateway to the left for transfer. I was turned away with my next boarding pass and told to enter and then exit Switzerland.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Maastrichtmouse. Much appreciated. Do I understand you correctly that you did not have to present yourself at the check-in desk of EasyJet but simply went landside to go straight back through security, something you could still do in case you missed the check-in desk window by a few minutes, let's say.

I had in the meantime pulled the trigger and purchased the ticket. I will try my luck, hoping the flight coming into GVA will be on time and that there would be enough time either way. I shall report back next year.
