Have always used Dollar on trips to Florida and normally get a Town Car, however this time I got a Chrysler 300 touring and was informed that Florida no longer has Town Cars. I'm no expert on American cars but is the Chrysler not over $10k cheaper than a Lincoln, surely this is a very sneaky way of significantly increasing their prices.

I'm just a youngin, but I would take a 300 anyday over a Towncar.Originally Posted by muzski

I had this in Vegas and loved it!
The 300 touring is a nice car. I had one in RSW through Hertz (This was considered a Premium with Hertz) but I would take a TC anyday. They ride like a dream, and the V8 power is amazing...In defense of Dollar, that all comes with a price tag too!

Nice car, with leather seats. The built-in Sirius radio made it even nicer

I think you are seriously over estimating the price that Lincoln gets for its Towncars from fleet customers. Even retail I could probably buy a Towncar for roughly the same as the 300 Touring you rented (which I assume had a few options like leather seats), the Lincoln is much much more heavily discounted.Originally Posted by muzski

Hate to break the news to you, but 300 Touring Coupes have 6 cylinders. You have to go to the 300C or SRT to get the V8.
