International Travel - Expectations?

I've got my foot in a cast boot for a few more weeks. I've traveled domestically in the U.S. with a cast & later the boot & crtuches so I know what to expect from TSA.

Next week I'm headed to FRA. Any ideas what I can expect from German customs & immigration? How about German security & U.S. Border Protection on the return?

Thanks in advance!

I can't help with Germany, but I've hit Taiwan, China (as well as HKG) and England while in a cast. I was whisked through to immigration by a wheelchair assist and was done in a matter of moments. My traveling companions were able to go with me. Same on the way back to the US. I can say it is one of the few positive things I've experienced while injured.

The last time I flew through FRA, it was pretty much as described above. No cast, but I was in a wheelchair.
