You've been quite the Dining Buzz posting machine as of late.

I've been here twice and find it to be very different from KFC. While KFC focuses on Southern style cooking, El Pollo Loco focuses on Mexican style cooking. Therefore, food is served with tortillas and has a Southwestern theme to it. As I've said I've only been twice but I enjoyed both visits.

Trying to stay away from the fried stuff as often as possible, the crazy chicken is a good alternative. Besides, with their value menu, two chicken legs and a Loco salad is only $3 ^.

All their chicken is flame broiled. Whole chickens are butterflied in half and marinated then flame broiled. Quite tasty when fresh. They have a salsa bar and other menu items include usual Mexican items such as quesadillas, tacos, salads, bowls with meat, rice and beans, etc. All with or without chicken.

I went once and didn't really enjoy it. I thought it was a little too greasy.

Yep - there was one on Omotesando Dori near Harajuku. I don't think it is there anymore.
