Moderators' Note:

Thoughtful concerns have been raised about this thread....

After due consideration, we've decided that in the interest of a) not creating an opportunity for post-padding -- intentional or not -- (barred by FT Rule 14); and b) having a thread that is not unintentionally dominated by a small number of people (giving space for other voices), going forward there will be a two-post-per 24 hours rule in place. We hope that this will give more diverse voices the opportunity to chime in.

We'll be merging or deleting posts that don't follow this rule.

Thanks for you understanding.

Lol. I love Suntori but there's no rule that you have to finish one bottle before you open another! Create a nice rotation...

the Suntori Toki whiskey isn’t tasty like Kavalan or other whiskeys I’ve had. Once I open anything, it’ll be too difficult to want to drink the Suntori again. So I feel obliged to finish it first :-)

Last night, a Bunker Machine pils with dinner followed by a Tanqueray and Fever Tree tonic...then a Tanqueray and Fresca. Oops. Overindulged a bit.

Now just some water.

Clark & Sheffield Whiskey with diet coke.

After a flat tire, a broken nut on the spare, and then a tow to the wrong garage (across the street), I need a little "comfort food" at 4 pm .

You don't happen to want to ship some of that Bunker Machine Pils to me, do you?

Question Computerized inventory

I had a 12-oz. can of a beverage I should not have been able to find on the shelf because it was concocted for the 2019 Holiday Season; Cinnamon Coca-Cola.
It was in a display on an endpoint at a Jewel-Osco @ 6430 W. Irving Park Rd. (This display had all the available varieties of Coca-Cola on top of the stacks of Sprite - so no buying Sprite here.) on 6 July. I might have bought a second 12-pack of it, but the "Best By" date on the packaging read 3 AUGUST 2020. Where had it been hiding in the Coca-Cola warehouse?
It tasted all right. I have drunk out-of-date soda numerous times; I buy regular varieties, not diet variants. The 12-pack was $2.99; multiples of four, maximum eight.

Margarita, but served in a martini glass. Less volume but more festive than a highball glass.
