Thoughtful concerns have been raised about this thread....
After due consideration, we've decided that in the interest of a) not creating an opportunity for post-padding -- intentional or not -- (barred by FT Rule 14); and b) having a thread that is not unintentionally dominated by a small number of people (giving space for other voices), going forward there will be a two-post-per 24 hours rule in place. We hope that this will give more diverse voices the opportunity to chime in.
We'll be merging or deleting posts that don't follow this rule.
Thanks for you understanding.

Larceny bourbon. Wish I'd picked up a bottle of the barrel-proof when VA ABC had their tiny numbers distributed to the weirdest locations...

ditto for now.
Yes. I get warm. 75 is brutal.
So I did switch away from peets and caribou after they got bought by jhb. At least SBUX is a USA stock. I also still suspect that Reckitt was a bit dodgy in the 30s and 40s. Granted I tried to support indie coffee places when traveling but SBUX is convenient with their Order Ahead function. Still, now being home in shelter, I do just continue to make coffee at home.

Inside: Tap water no ice.
Outside: Cold diet soda and iced water, as it is over 100 F.
After watching news about Covid or presidential election: Cold beer, strong consideration for a chaser.
