I have never been to a Chick-fil-A. :o

I've read so much about them and how great their chicken sandwiches are, I finally tried it several months ago in NYC, the one on 8th Ave. I tried the chicken sandwich and strips; not cheap, but pretty good, I suppose. The staff all did seem very nice and friendlier than most places, but this was Midtown, so maybe it was just by contrast.

Anyway, I'm not really a chicken guy and much prefer burgers, but it was, I suppose, as good as a chicken sandwich could be.

PS - Forgot to try their fries!

Also, the new spicy chicken with pimento cheese is soooo delicious!

I thought it was delicious and my next order will have extra jalapeños. I would order whole jalapeños if it was offered since fresh is spicier than pickled jalapeños

Am I the only one that wishes they offered the Peppermint Shakes all year round??

So you can build our stores, just not eat our food, on Sunday?

I like CFA's spicy chicken sandwich, but my favorite is Popeye's. The problem is that every Popeye's near me is disgusting, horribly managed, and super unfriendly.

If we could combine CFA's staff, cleanliness, and process with the Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich, I'd be in heaven.

Eat too many of them and you'll end up there anyway. ;)

We got a coupon last week for a free breakfast chicken biscuit. I'm a sucker for *free*. It was so good we bought another today. I now want a Chick-Fil-A adjacent to every Hyatt Place where I always skip out on their miserable breakfast. Warning; it's a breakfast item and only available til 10:30.

Chick Fil A should bring back their fish sandwich which was discontinued in 2021 after Lent.

I think all of their loyalty accounts got a free one last week.

Anyone else annoyed by Chick Fil A's prices? I'm talking about like $25 bucks to feed two toddlers

Chick Fil A Sandwich
Mac + Cheese Side
Frosted Lemonade
Large Soup

Its kind of insane...

I feel like that's prices anywhere now.

Definitely. I'm guessing that order was made on the west coast or northeast. About 20% higher than it would be here.
I got a burger and fries (no drink) at a high-end fast food place a couple weeks ago and was shocked at my $18 bill. I can eat at CFA for half that. We don't have some of the wage laws that other states have, but the high school kids behind the counter here are still making $15+. We noticed the "acceptable" wage for kids went up during COVID when their parents wouldn't let them work and restaurants were desperate...and it just stayed there.

I got the chance to actually test my memory today as my wife requested I pick up the new Jalapeno Ranch Club for lunch on my way home from running an errand. Two of these sandwiches with 2 fries, with tax = $24 here. So not quite half of the $18...but a regular Deluxe sandwich and fries would have put us at $9 per person.

While waiting at the drive thru window, after ordering in the app, the friendly attendant asked if I had tried the new Jalapeno Ranch yet. I said I hadn't and she said it was her favorite. Mentioned mine was the pimiento and she agreed that was good too. After one of the longer conversations I've ever had at a drive thru window, I brought lunch home to mixed reviews. I thought it was pretty good (didn't reach pimiento heights though), and my wife said she'd go back to chick-n-strips. :)

Yes West Coast more specifically just south of San Francisco... CFA is next level because there's no promotional pricing. I could get a $5 McChicken/Chicken Nugget/Fries meal or even much cheaper Chicken Sandwiches and Fries at Popeyes. Could feed my kids for probably $12 at In-N-Out. The problem is they love CFA Mac N Cheese and the soup

I enjoyed my chicken biscuit and hashbrowns at ATL Concourse B this week. I’ve historically strayed away from the chicken here due to the unique flavor I’ve always attributed to what I assumed was a pickle brine. Despite that, I used to eat a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit from here every morning in college as I did not enjoy dining hall breakfast. The biscuits are quite good.
