I just got an email where you can sign up to try out the new Spicy Chicken sandwich, starting at the end of May. It gets introduced to everyone on June 7th.

It was sent as a target email, so I don't think you can just print out a coupon. You also have to pick a time range on a particular day and location to sign up for.

I was bumming, as I had seen the sign up for the new sandwich, but was going out of the country for a month on June 4th!

Once you sign up at the link, you have to then print a coupon.

Me too. I stayed away from them for a long time because of the founder's philosophy but eventually tried it. I was raised as a conservative Christian so I figured I could fake it when they asked me to take the religious test before ordering. The food was actually pretty good. It was a nice break from the typical greasy burgers (which I really like). I was glad to see that they had different entrees from most other places. I go in now and get the same thing everytime, chicken sandwich, carrot & raisin salad and diet lemonade (where else can you get that?).

Now I'm hungry. I think I'll go to the one across the street from my house and get lunch. :D

Mrs BV goes there because it's one of the few fast food chains where you can get a diet uncaffeinated soda. Neither one of us is crazy about the food there since I started on Weight Watchers, but I used to order the nuggets. I still order the diet lemonade but have to add 3 splenda packets since it's so sour.

Just tried the sandwich--not bad. Nice spice, although I would've liked ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing, rather than just mayo on the side.

Thumbs up, but not all I had hoped for.

I just tried it for lunch today. I thought the spicy was quite nice. I got it with the pepperjack cheese, so it might be spicier than most people enjoy. It was not as good as the normal sandwich, though. I was hoping for basically the same as the normal sandwich, just just spicy.

I enjoyed the sandwich today - I also enjoyed the coupon I got for another one free once the sandwich officially launches next week, merely for coming in to try it during the pre-release period ;)

I remember a few weeks or months back when the Wendy's in my area was giving away free coupons for their Blue cheese/Bacon burger (Shudder). They were almost throwing them in your face. It seemed they were desperate to promote.

I just tried the website to get the new spicy sandwich. The only place open for "reservations" is about 15 miles away. I'm not sure I want to drive that far when there is one across the street from me.

I just went to print out a coupon for Orange County and found "0 Reservations Remaining". I might have to pay to try the new sandwich. ;)

Apparently each franchise is promoting it in their own way--my parents redeemed their coupons tonight at their local franchise. This location had a reserved seating area, along with someone to seat each party, and a server to deliver food. Each person with a certificate also received free medium fries and a free medium drink, along with several coupons for free sandwiches to distribute to friends.

I like Chick-Fil-A but they are closed on Sunday (goes back to traditual values when alot of business were closed on Sunday) For some time just about any type of business is open on Sunday, Supermakets, Car Dealers, Banks, shopping malls. Do you think they will ever back down to their strong beliefs and open on Sunday.

except bergen county Malls in Northern New Jersey are closed on sundays

the Fashion center, Paramus park, Garden state plaza and Riverside square.

all over bergen county stores are closed unless they sell food.

take a trip down route 17you'll see what I mean, not just malls staples, comp usa verizon ect closed on sunday. what a different way of life.

for anybody that's wondering are the restaurants open in the Malls
the answer is yes. Ruby tuesdays, Joe Americans, the grande lux cafe, Houstons Mccormicks the cheese cake factory are opend on sundays even though the Malls are closed.

I like the food at Chick-fil-A, but I don't care to have their religious philosophy thrust in my face when reading their stuff, so I rarely go there anymore.

I always stop at one when travelling if I want a quick meal. The nearest one is 90 miles from my home. I've thought about looking into opening a franchise locally, but then realized I know nothing about running a restaurant. :)

I was in ATL on a Sunday and I was curious if they were open. It was in another terminal and I didn't have time to check.

I'll bet they weren't.

I didn't like them when I first was going, I think that's because the location at the Arizona State student union wasn't the best, but they've grown on me. Their chicken biscuits with honey or spicy mustard are my favorite and their fries aren't bad either. Plus the locations in AZ and NC I've gone to always seem to have friendly staff.

Amusingly, once I did a run for the whole office and I said "I need 15 chicken biscuits". I was by myself and the woman asked "are those for here?". How fat did she think I was? :D

Ma Kettle is a fan, but they never really caught on for me.
