I like Wickles (Wickedly Good Pickles). I get them at my local grocery store, Publix, though I think you can get them at Trader Joe's, too. They are strong, spicy and sweet - not a delicate taste.
We used to have a pickle guy at the local ren faire in Fort Lauderdale. He had his pickle cart, and the pickles were OK. What made him interesting is that he would sing - in classical tunes - the word pickle. For instance, Ode to Joy: Pickle pickle, pickle pickle, pickle pickle piiiiiiickle!

I second the earlier vote for cornichons. So crunchy! So delectably bite-sized! But don't ever be tempted by non-French cornichons. I bought some Polish knockoffs at my local E. European joint, and they were just not right. Probably the only pickles I've actually tossed out...

Sweet pickles finely diced in tuna fish salad on freshly baked homemade bread. Extra pickles in Chic-fil-a sandwiches. Midnight snack of quartered spicy garlicky dills and decent aged cheddar dipped in mustard.

after going to Toledo OH a month or so ago, I picked up a couple jars to Tony Packos Sweet Hot Pickles & Peppers (mostly pickles).
THESE ARE SO ADDICITING and terrific on sandwiches.

(Tony Packos was a homesick Toledo place mentioned by Klinger in the TV show M.A.S.H.)
