how often do you drink alcohol?

Every day?

A couple of times a week?

Only on the weekends?

Once a month?

Once a year?

Never?

Not sure if this is specific enough for a DiningBuzz thread, being so nonspecific to drinking places or drinks. Otherwise Hello, OMNI!

I enjoy a drink on 'weekends' but my definition includes Thursday as well as Friday nights.

Preferably in quality, but quantity sometimes happens too.

Each and every single day of my adult life and I always thank the Lord for inventing the stuff.
The anticipation of opening an untried bottle of wine;the joy of walking into a new pub and seeing a beer you've never seen before;the first drink of the day which is always a Gordon's and Tonic;the glass of chilled champagne on a summer's day;the rum and black nightcap;the Bloody Mary as you settle into your decent seat on a transatlantic flight;the glass of peaty single malt in Scotland;the dark 9% Belgian beer that's so strong it rattles your fillings;mulled wine on a cold winter's evening;a pint of Bass in the Ear Bar in NYC; a pint of scrumpy cider;a bottle of Normandy cider straight from the farmer;the tequila cocktails from Bally's Tequila Bar in Vegas;the ice-cold Tiger beer with a Thai Green curry; the pint of creamy stout in my Irish local ... I adore alcohol in every shape or form except brandy.Simply can't bear the stuff.

Nearly every day. There are periods in which I will not have a drink for a week or several weeks, but I would say that 90% of the time I at least have a drink a day.

Now if you take the number of drinks I consume on average and average it across the number of days I've been alive, I've drank since I was in diapers.

Never, these days.

Actually, 'these days' will be a decade, as of the 24th of this month!

The only thing I miss is the flavour: there are precious few soft drinks with the complex flavours of many alcoholic drinks. They do seem to be on the increases these days, though, which is cheering.

Ha ha - fooled you!

Every time you have fruit juice that is not freshly squeezed then you are consuming minute amounts of alcohol
I don't drink booze,I will have an non alcoholic beer or a Bitters and soda now and then-these also have minute traces of alcohol.
Some over eager friends chastise me for this I always tell them If I ever want to go back to drinking I won't waste my time on unleaded pi#s or medicinal tasting refreshments.

I drink every few days. Usually 1 beer...sometimes 2 or 3 if it was a bad week.

Very rarely any more, but for years I would drink 8-10 beers a day. And almost exclusively in my neighborhood bar. Don't even like to think about the money I pissed (literally) away.

I'm a woman on a mission at dinnertime. I love to cook and it just seems natural that a glass of Chardonnay goes with the dinner. Although I admit that it also goes well with the nights we eat dinner out.
