Question Badoit 750ml Plastic Bottles Needed

I need several Badoit 750ml Plastic Bottles for my son's Science Olympiad project. I have inquired with all the known distributors in the US (Boca Raton, FL and California) and online retailers, and no one has Badoit in the 750ml size.

I have been informed that "FlyerTalk is not a marketplace and nothing is to be offered for sale or conditioned on an exchange of money or barter."

If you have any Badoit Plastic Bottles in the 750ml size, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks, Paul

Smile Badoit water Bottles Needed

I need three 750ml Badoit bottles before the middle of March. I don't need the contents, enjoy the water which I hear is very good, but we greatly need the empty bottles to make our water bottle rockets for our Indiana state Science Olympiad event.

We would greatly appreciate it if someone would be willing to bring back a few empty bottle for us.

Thanks, Paul

I saw Badoit at Eli's in NYC. It was a while ago, but why don't you give them a call?

You can get Badoit in many places in the US. Just look around at some of your more specialty stores or nicer grocery stores. It's just a lot more expensive here (about a dollar in France, maybe four or five here).

The stores around here (the ones I frequent, at least) only have Badoit in 1-liter and 50-cl plastic bottles. Are you sure a 750-ml size exists?

I was wondering the same thing. Just saw some 1ltr plastic Badoit bottles in a local store. I don't think I've ever seen plastic ones in a 750ml size.

You can only find the plastic (PET) bottles in either 1 liter or 500ml here in the US. However, I have read several references to Badoit being sold in plastic in the 750ml in France.

The particular shape and size of the Badoit bottle are ideal for the Science Olympiad project we are working on. The only thing better would be three of the old 32 ounce plastic (PET) bottles that were made prior to the modern clam shell bottoms. Remember the ones with the black cap that made them flat on the bottom so that they could stand up on store shelves. Unfortunately, even soda collectors didn't collect these bottles from the 1980's as they were collecting the glass bottles. Today many bottle deposit laws in states charge more tax for bottles 32 ounces or greater in plastic, so most 32 ounce bottles made today are made of glass.

We would greatly appreciate it if someone would be willing to bring back three empty Badoit 750ml bottles for my son and I.

Thanks, Paul

iff is based in Paris and has not seen any.

This means that it is unlikely that a visitor to France will randomly come across one of these bottles.

As you seem sure that this sized bottle can be obtained you may need to do some more leg work.

Have you contacted Danone directly?

If they are not able to send you 3 empty bottles, perhaps they can forward you details of vendors. This information would make it much easier for someone who was willing to help you to do so.

Merely repeating your request here isn't very useful.

Living on the Swiss/French border, I can confirm that I have never seen 750 ml bottles of Badoit.

In France, it's all 1 l, and 1 supermarket chain in Switzerland has a 1.15 l size ...

Cheers,

Got 'em!

They're new, which is why they aren't widely stocked.

Now to figure out how to get them to you... Is anybody coming to Paris who would like to carry them back to the US? Obviously they'll take up a bit of room in your luggage, but at least they're lightweight.

I don't have any suitable mailing boxes on hand and am not sure when I can hunt one down... but if they need to be mailed, I'll see what I can do.
