Coke Light is the great tasting Coca-Cola, just less of it

Actually in the diet category, I must say that Coke Zero (US formula) pwns everything else. No comparison.
In the regular soda category, give me a cane-sugar Coca-Cola in a icy cold, glass-bottle.

COKE, hands down.
Besides, no one but confused yankees order Jack and Pepsi, or Rum and Pepsi, etc. Coke actually serves a purpose. Pepsi doesn't.
This should really be a poll. I'd like to see the results without counting each post.

Say Whaaaaat?!!
I prefer Pepsi (especially Pepsi Max) to Coke.
BUT
I would never drink cola with a meal of any kind. Its overbearing sweet taste desensitises your taste buds, ensuring that you miss the subtler touches of your food, and the heavy carbon content means that the meal gets digested expeditiously, meaning you end up overeating and/or going hungry sooner than you would otherwise. Champagne and sparkling water are the only carbonated drinks I would ever consider having with a meal.

It's not made up, but it is the subject of some contention. The theory is that the additional pressure caused by the CO2 ingested causes the stomach and intestine to distend slightly, allowing more rapid digestion. This would be observed more with colder carbonated drinks, as more of the CO2 remains dissolved when it's drunk.
Others refute this and claim that the distention is minimal, and that other properties of carbonated drinks (such as the relatively strong acidity of colas an the like) contribute to the effect more.

Diet Coke is also great, but Coke Zero is amazing.
And they do have it in the fountains at Regal Cinemas now where I live in the states!

Always Coca-Cola!
However, it is sad that real sugar Coke is not available in the US of A. (Except for expensive ones at the local tienda or the limited supply of Passover Coke)
