Finding Coke made with sugar in the US
Recently in Australia I had the pleasure of drinking Coca-Cola made with sugar, as opposed to the corn syrup used in the States. Does anyone know where I can get the Australian formula of Coca-Cola in the US? Thanks.

I read a newspaper article not too long ago that one of the things immigrants missed most about Mexico was the "real" Coca Cola.

I believe most (all?) Coca Cola produced in Mexico is made with sugar. Just take a look in your local Mexican grocery store - they'll usually have it in the bottle.

There's a limited supply of non-corn syrup Coca-Cola in the US. It's the "Kosher for Passover" formula, released every year starting mid-February to early March (it's long gone by now - sorry). They change the cap colors as an easy indicator...
There's usually an annual article in a major newspaper about the Coca-Cola "purist" who buys a pallet-load to last him the year...
If your local supermarket doesn't stock significant kosher for passover food products, try to find the name/phone number of the nearest Orthodox Jewish synagoge and asking them for suggestions about where to do passover food shopping!

Try a search for "Kosher Coke" or "HFSC".

I believe the Hawaiian distributor is also allowed to use the formula that contains cane sugar and not HFSC.
Otherwise, come to the US right before Passover - the Kosher blend of Coke is released and you can stock up.

Actually, it's available all over the U.S. for a couple of weeks every Spring in conjunction with Passover. Corn (and corn products, like syrup) is not kosher for Passover, so many/most Coke plants make Coke with sugar instead of corn syrup so that it is kosher for Passover. I don't recall the color of the cap this year which differentiated the bottles. In heavily Jewish areas, you can often get it in the regular large supermarkets. Otherwise, try a kosher foods store.

I saw the "Mexican" Coca Cola at my costco in San Diego. The box contained 24 "traditional" glass bottles for the whopping amount of $17.99 USD!! 
I'd rather just drink Mexican water at that price...

I bought a couple hundred two litre bottles in April and May which are projected to be gone by the end of the year, as the plastic bottles don't retain the carbonation much beyond a few months.

HEB sells them in most of their stores in Austin for 99 cents a bottle.
Probably much cheaper to do jfe's suggestion, but a little less convenient for those of us who do not live in a border town.
