Excellent: CX. One particular flight from JFK-HKG had one cup after dinner and three after breakfast. It's THAT good ^

Tolerable: NW. Because I've flown them too often. I guess I just got used to their coffee. But they brew well and it isn't watery or any of that Dunkin Donuts swill.

Qualifies for Vomit: MU. Yeah. I found their culinary aspect pretty bad. I should've really gotten the hint there. Its almost indescribable.

When Shuttle by United was around, their coffee was pretty atrocious too.

Mrs B drinks hot tea. Last week, she was served a cup on a DL flight that was indistinguishable from a bad cup of coffee. At first, she thought our orders had been reversed but mine tasted more coffee-like. Even the FA couldn't determine what it was by sniffing. Blech.

I had a cup of coffee coming back from PHL on a DL flight and it wasn't bad. It wasn't necessarily good but not bad. I didn't ask what kind of coffee it was though...

Starbucks at 35000 feet is awful.
I must respectfully disagree with you, my friend dhammer53! I enjoy the Starbucks Lite Note that is brewed onboard, and often on PS flights I finish well over a pot-full myself.

On SQ and UA intra-Asia I typically drink oolong tea. And lots of that too!^
