I had to look it up too. It didnt make a big impression. Possibly just a splash used. I am just getting used to this bar. All drinks are mixed at the south end. I will sit there next time. The lady 2 stools to my left ordered a special g&t that I wish I could have discretely photographed. Large cucumber slice garnish.

Woodford Reserve, Metaxa 7 Stars, Vanilla Sugar, Orange Bitters, Amarena Cherry
To save all the rest of us the trouble:

Quote:
Metaxa (Greek: Μεταξά) is a line of branded Greek alcoholic drinks, each a flavored amber blend of spirits and Muscat wine, aged in oak barrels. Several Metaxa products have numbered "star" designations indicating, according to different sources, either the product's age, the number of base spirits and wines used in making it, or simply the quality level (itself a reflection of the age). Metaxa's main exported products are 5 Star, 7 Star, 12 Star, and Private Reserve. (Metaxa 3 Star is not exported.) . . . .

Flora G&T. See post 317 for ingredients. The one I saw last week was prettier than mine but this was tasty. This was quite large and it took me a while to finish.

No photos....2 mojitos. At first the restaurant told us they were out of mint. That didn't sit well with us but somehow they miraculously found enough for 5 drinks. There is a trader Joe within walking distance and a Vons a tiny bit further--go get it.

Nothing too fancy — watching the Avs game with a couple glasses of the Costco old fashioned mix. It’s actually pretty good, though I still prefer the knob creek mix.
