It always depends on the occasion or what food you will be having with it, but I would be compelled to try the 1995 Rose. Reviewers have given the 1995 rave reviews--one of Dom's best vintages of Rose ever!

However I have had the 98 regular Dom and while good, it wasn't as good as the 1996. Yum!

DebbieS, I just want to back up this suggestion as excellent. I have a condo so I can't build a cellar in the basement. Instead, I bought a wine storage unit. Click here to see it. It's the next best thing, and I keep my best 60 bottles in there. Consider something like this if you plan to buy and age several dozen wines over the next few years.

However, I have other wines I want to age. It so happens I have a closet that gets and stays pretty cool, about 7-10 degrees less than the rest of the house. I put a lay of wines in there and lay the bottles down on their sides. This is important because it keeps the cork from drying out, which would eventually damage the wine. I keep a temperature and humidity gauge ($5) in there, and you might want to get one of those.

I would suggest if you can't keep the bottle at an absolute maximum of 68 or below, you might want to reconsider your plan to hold it for several years. This is an expensive bottle--don't waste it on poor storage. It's already been 11 years since the vintage so consider drinking it sooner rather than later, but it will probably last another 10 years under ideal storage conditions.
