And, hey, welcome to FT, Untouchable1!

I dunno, AUS is some of the best airport food around, IMHO...that might be hard to top. I haven't flown through Terminal D yet to compare.

The sit-down restaurant in the AA concourse at SJU is the worst airport restaurant I have ever experienced. My wife and I swore they were serving goat goulash on the buffet. Stomach-turning.

There's a little pub/grill to the left of security at MHT that is very good.

There is no good airport Chili's, period.

Take out the word "airport" there, and you're on to something... ;)

Anything in China. :td:

Can I nominate a whole terminal? F in Philly is pretty darn bad. I always take the bus shuttle to B/C or even A West if I need food.

Orlando, past security, is also god awful. Pre-security is quite a different story.

I still remember when they ran out of food in RDU (whichever terminal UA flies out of) at 5:30 PM!!!

Really? All the places I've tried near WN have been decent - the burrito place is definitely good, and the pizza was OK fast-food pizza. I haven't been to all of them, though. Which one was bad?

The Roys is not awful, either. The ones I was giving a big :td: :td: to were the ones INSIDE terminals C and D - the quasi-mini-food-court type operations (BK, Nathan's etc with the same staff)

STL...

The whole airport is vile, but it's the only place I've gotten food poisoning from TWO different food vendors!

As a recent college grad who used MHT quite a bit recently during my college days, I always saw this place and it looked decent, but I always stuck to something mediocre like Pizza Hut Express or if there was no time, Dunkin Donuts.. mmm.. We don't have Dunkin here in Beijing, at least to my knowledge..

Maybe it's because I don't travel anywhere near as much as most people here, but I've never had a really terrible airport meal. Never had anything spectacular either..

I forget, but I got the world's soggiest fried okra and the
world's stalest fried chicken. It's in the long area parallel to the road.

I don't eat fried chicken, and I will make a note to avoid fried okra. ;) Thanks for the warning.

There's that diner-looking place in T8 at LAX...old license plates all over the wall. Gross!

It advertises things like "good chili," but when I inquired they
pointed me to a case of old-looking sandwiches, saying that's
all they had.

Is that place ever open? I usually catch puddle jumpers out of that terminal in the morning but never see it open. Looks like a good place to get a drink though.
