Strongly prefer Diet Pepsi to Diet Coke, both caffeine free and not. I can drink Diet Coke, as I make myself do it at times when I want a cola and all they have is Coke, but I don't much enjoy it.

Diet Coke is the nectar of the gods. Nothing better than an icey cold can. However, if it is more than a month or so beyond the date stamped on the bottom of the can, it can be REALLY bad. I have dumped entire cases down the drain.

As for my choice...neither...I haven't had a soft drink in over 3 years and glad to be rid of the habit.
I did try Diet Berry Vanilla Dr. Pepper when it first came out, but took one sip and poured it down the drain. God help you if ever try it. It was like drinking cough syrup.

Otherwise, if you live in a large city with a significant Jewish population, Coke that is made with sugar (so it is kosher for Passover) is sold for a few weeks every year. It's not bottled by everyone, though, so it's not easy to come by unless you live in a place like New York or Los Angeles.
And, if you can get it, just about nothing on this continent will beat Dr Pepper from Dublin, Texas.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if you can really tell the difference, you drink too much of it
. But keep drinking; PEP's been a decent investment (and much better than KO).
