I only drink the diet varities, so:
1. Diet Coke - best overall flavor; smooth 2. Diet Pepsi - Slightly 'sweeter', a little less smooth Oddly, for caffiene-free diet versions, I slighty CF Diet Pepsi over CF Diet Coke |
For both categories, I vote Coke products. I'm especially particular to those incarnations of Coke still made with cane sugar (e.g. Kosher Coke or Coke from Mexico.)

But if yo umust mix it with alcohol its gotta be coke.. same with 7up and sprite. &up is great by itself but when you get alcohol involved it has to be sprite... Wierd? What does everyone else think?

Preference is Coke, but really makes no difference to me.
