Diet Coke only. And never Zero Coke.

Prefer Pepsi to Coke, _strongly_ prefer Diet Pepsi to Diet Coke, and prefer Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi most of all.

But actually drink Sprite Zero to cut down on the caffeine.

Yes, yes, yes...had it for the first time this week!
That is my preferred diet drink now!

Diet Pepsi for me and Diet Coke for my wife... Call it a mixed marriage.

Does anyone know where I can get Coke made with sugar? They used to sell it in some stores, but I haven't seen it in a few years.

Agree, Coke with alcohol, but I like 7UP over Sprite when mixing.

Strongly prefer Diet Pepsi to Diet Coke, both caffeine free and not. I can drink Diet Coke, as I make myself do it at times when I want a cola and all they have is Coke, but I don't much enjoy it.

diet coke, preferably in a glass bottle.
(and least preferably in plastic)

I've cut my soda consumption 90%, but when I do partake, it's Diet Coke.

USCGamecock Jun 21, 2006 10:55 am

Only Diet Coke or, when abroad, Coca-Cola Light!

Diet Coke is the nectar of the gods. Nothing better than an icey cold can. However, if it is more than a month or so beyond the date stamped on the bottom of the can, it can be REALLY bad. I have dumped entire cases down the drain.

Any of the Mexican border towns would have it. I think jfe says he gets his in Juarez.

As for my choice...neither...I haven't had a soft drink in over 3 years and glad to be rid of the habit.

I did try Diet Berry Vanilla Dr. Pepper when it first came out, but took one sip and poured it down the drain. God help you if ever try it. It was like drinking cough syrup.

Sincerely,

If I'm drinking out of the can the Pepsi. Less fizzy.

If I am pouring it into a glass or it's out of a soda fountain then Coke. Better taste.

Diet Pepsi over Diet coke no matter how I drink it.

In areas with Hispanic populations, it's not uncommon to see it in grocery stores targeted to these populations. Virtually every Hispanic grocery store in this area carries either Coke or Pepsi imported from Mexico, and some carry other drinks (Squirt, 7-Up, and Orange Crush, for example).

Otherwise, if you live in a large city with a significant Jewish population, Coke that is made with sugar (so it is kosher for Passover) is sold for a few weeks every year. It's not bottled by everyone, though, so it's not easy to come by unless you live in a place like New York or Los Angeles.

And, if you can get it, just about nothing on this continent will beat Dr Pepper from Dublin, Texas.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if you can really tell the difference, you drink too much of it :). But keep drinking; PEP's been a decent investment (and much better than KO).

Really? I haven't tasted Pepsi or RC in years and I am certain that if you lined up cups of them with Coke, Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi and Diet Rite, I could easily ID each of them. That's how fine my palate is! :D
