Fortunately I don’t have a cat.

I picked up Baby Swede from the library last week around noon. I asked what she wanted for lunch. "Subway." I asked, "Are you sure? How about Jersey Mike's?".

"No."
"Jimmy John's?"
"No."
"Firehouse Subs?"
"No."
"How about the cheesesteak place?"
"No."
"...Chinese food?"
"No."

So off to Subway we went. I had my usual of footlong Spicy Italian on Italian Herbs & Cheese, provolone cheese, lettuce, cucumber, banana peppers, oregano, salt & pepper, and a little Chipotle Southwest. It was fine. Not great. It fixed my hunger issue and had dinner later that evening.

Mrs. Swede and I had couples golf league tonight. The kids went thrift shopping, and we told them that they could pick up dinner from where ever they wanted. I'll give you one guess what wrappers/napkins were strewn all over the kitchen counter when we got home.

Stuck in Toronto all night waiting for flight to Ottawa…found an all night Subway about 0300 upstairs in domestic terminal….pleased to get a breakfast sub and even more pleased that the tables along the rail all had plug outlets!

I remember I ate Subway before. I have Herbs cheese Italian sandwich and I have ham, pepperoni, Swiss cheese, onions and black olives. Sometime I buy cheesesteaks sandwich.

I've had experiences with Subway that are good and bad. It all really depends on your request. As for the weight loss bit Subway has been pitching (great marketing BTW), what they don't tell you is that when Jared was on the "subway diet", he would walk from his apartment and take a roundabout route (30 min to an hour) to the subway, eat there, and walk the same route back. Eating a reduced calorie meal alone isn't going to help you loose weight. Another suggestion that I've been using for almost my entire life is drink a glass (16 oz) of iced water before the meal and eat until full (obviously not junk food). The water has a filling effect on the stomach.

Togo's (west coast based chain) has excellent subs also.

Good luck on the 20 lbs.
