What is your most expensive dinner? Mine would be $250 at Esca in NY.

€950 at "t'Deurtje just outside Amsterdam. I won a battle of Doom 3D at my office and oddly enough I was the one that ended up taking a collegue out to dinner.

I spent almost, well my dad, $800 for dinner for us in Las Vegas, at the Caesar's Palace.
Which, by the way, thread should go in to DiningBuzz! Let's follow it there. |
I think about $350US for a Charlie Trotter's New Year's Eve dinner.
Almost every dish had tons of truffles which I found out that evening that I really did not appreciate in that quanity. |
6 people, $1,800 (not including tip) at Picasso in the Bellagio, Las Vegas.
I paid cash. http://www.flyertalk.com/dining/ftdi...orum/smile.gif |
My husband and I had lunch at Pierre Gagnaire and I think it was about $550 or $600. L'Oustau de Bauminere was $550ish for three.
We've had lots of meals in the $300-to-$400-for-two range. When traveling to a good restaurant area, we often book a few of these for the same week. I save the menus and have many framed and hanging in the eating area of the kitchen. |
At Caviar Kaspia in Paris, I believe we paid around $300 for a lunch which consisted only of Ossetra Caviar, blinis and vodka. Sure was decadent, if not exactly filling http://www.flyertalk.com/dining/ftdi...orum/smile.gif

Dinner at Dieter Mueller's restaurant in Schloss Leerbach - absolutely superb 3 Michelin star restaurant - 750 EUR for 4.
