I think I overhyped myself after reading your suggestion and reading other S. African wine as I did not really enjoy it.

I missed the bottler's name, but one of the
(dry) Steens was October's white on Continental domestic flights in FC.
I found it quite OK and was happy to see it again on my first flight in November.

The wines made by Springfield Estate in Robertson are excellent. Life from Stone is relatively easy to get in the UK, so I drink quite a lot of it. Methode Ancienne is a fascinating wine for a New World winemaker.
