Frozen Apple Dumplings

Can you freeze apple dumplings? I am referring to the apple wrapped in puff pastry type, not fritters. I pick them up from a local orchard, but as a single person only =go through one at a time, and they are much cheaper by the tray.

If so, how do you cook - straight from frozen? Can you do it in an air fryer?

I think they'd freeze quite nicely, and I'd likely reheat them directly from frozen into the oven on parchment paper. I think the puff pastry is a recipe for burning on the outsize with a very cold filling in the air fryer.
